Arun Gupta is Chief Information Officer at Cipla Limited. He specializes in transforming Business IT and is recognized as "Strategic and Business friendly CIO".
From March 2007 until April 2012, he was Customer Care Associate & Group CTO for Shoppers Stop. Under his leadership, Shoppers Stop has won the coveted NASSCOM CNBC IT User Award in 2010 amongst many other award winning technology lead business initiatives.
He was inducted to CIO Hall of Fame by CIO Magazine in August 2011 and Global IT Leaders Hall of Fame by InformationWeek in October 2010. Arun has won many accolades including "The Global CIO 50: IT Leaders Changing the Business World", by InformationWeek. In 2011, he was voted #1 in a peer vote as "The Most Respected CIO in India" poll conducted by CIO Association of India and in February was conferred the title of CIO of the year 2012 by BizTech2.0, a CNBC TV18 company.
His career spanning over 28 years include senior positions at Philips, Pfizer, Hughes Telecom, DHL, DSP Merrill Lynch and Great Eastern Shipping. He has held P&L responsibilities at Shoppers Stop for the Food & Beverage business, Internet Service Operations at Hughes Tele.com and ecommerce logistics at DHL.
Arun is President of TDWI India and earlier was the chair of Technology Committee of Retailers Association of India; he has been on the Advisory Board of CIO Magazine, from 2005-2009. He is an invited speaker globally on varied subjects in business and IT.
Arun is an active blogger under the pseudonym "CIO Inverted".

Sunil is recognised for pioneering disruptive technologies focused on Process Innovation, Customer Experience Enhancement and the strategic use of technology for sustained Value Creation. He possesses International experience of over 2 decades in Leadership & Innovation within IT, Customer Service, Operations, and Offshore IT Program Management – across Financial Services, Telecom, IT and manufacturing.
Sunil has led several change and transformation initiatives in joint venture, start-up and customer/ operations-intensive organizations. He has been successful through all cycles of business, including high growth, downturn, economic liberalization and evolving regulations in one of the world’s fastest growing markets. He is also a motivational speaker, executive coach and mentor.
Sunil spent a decade with HDFC Standard Life as CIO and EVP - IT, Process, and Quality – a company he joined as a start-up. He contributed extensively to organisational development, particularly in evolving Operations and Service strategy and Infrastructure. HDFC Standard Life was progressive in it’s early adoption of technologies and received several awards for business value of IT.
Sunil earlier worked as Director, Technology & Operations, for MasterCard, where he drove the implementation of payment solutions in South Asia. Sunil acquired his passion for Customer Engagement at the company that is now Vodafone. Apart from creating the technology enabled service infrastructure, Sunil led the creation of the Credit Control, Billing Assurance and Consumer Retention functions. He conceptualised and developed India's first telecom web based CRM system.
Sunil also created the IT function for Orange, Israel and worked for one of India’s first offshore development centre at Australia & New Zealand Banking Group.

Nitin joined ThoughtWorks 9 years ago and since then it has been a very interesting journey. In summary, a journey of firsts like leading a team to set up a new office in a new city. Leading one of the largest Distributed Agile Programmes in the world.To be part of the first distributed project team in China or being part of the first RoR project in ThoughtWorks India. Nitin has been part of teams in India, China, Hong Kong and USA and have worked with clients in Australia, Hong Kong, Singapore, USA and UK.
Before joining ThoughtWorks, Nitin was working with TCS. He was part of the initial team for TradeX, a trading solution for stock/commodity exchanges. He was involved in conceptualizing, development, testing and was part of proposal teams.
